I stayed for three nights in total (one night, then two nights together later in the week) and only wish that there was availability this week as I would have stayed again for work. The location was perfect for my workplace and only took 15 minutes to drive. When I first arrived, I was greeted and assisted with the check-in system. The female staff member (long dark hair) was alone and tending to the bar, reception, and taking drinks outside, so I was impressed when she also offered to help me bring in my multiple bags from the car. After sleepless nights elsewhere, I was very pleased to have my first decent nights sleep away from home in seven weeks (not joking). Both rooms were adequate for what I needed with the second room (112) being much brighter. It even had a view of baby bunnies munching on grass from the window. Both rooms were quiet, the beds were firm, and all of the facilities in the room worked. I didn't eat breakfast or have dinner at the hotel but I did go to the bar each night and either sat outside or inside. I would recommend the hotel for location, peace and quiet, and for being friendly and ticking all boxes for my work-related stay. I did see holiday-makers at the hotel too so I feel it is an all-round great hotel.

the staff were so helpful. Logging in the car and at check in. kindly provided a second duvet as we like two even on one bed due to caterpillar roll by one of us and we'd forgotten to bring one! Breakfast hours from 7 to 10 meant all of us were happy as two of us early risers and two lay inners. Beds really comfortable. Quiet despite the nearby A road and ony heard neighbouring room once. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Gives a great option rather than the chain budget hotels and if more than a few nights as we were there are chain burger, chicken and pizza places around the corner or Kings Lynn 40 min walk, a bus or 10 mins by car. It was a great choice for us.

This hotel is ideally located for getting into Kings Lynn and beyond. The staff were all very friendly and helpful both in terms of the services they provided and local information. Reminded us to log the car in for the stay and check in is easy. Eating there after a long drive was welcome and the chef accommodating for specific needs. Breakfast is set out and the team refill it regularly. Rooms were clean and tidy, with hanging space, shelves and bag space suitable for three nights. Shower once mastered was great. A bonus green woodpecker out the back each morning and rabbits on the lawn!

We booked this last minute and were really pleased. We had a lovely ground floor room. I’m a stickler for cleaning less and was so happy that the room was immaculately clean with clean bedding and fluffy towels. Toiletries were included and were really nice. A very clean bathroom with a lovely waterfall shower and a good supply of teas and coffees. Small things, like a plug socket opposite the mirror for straighteners. It came equipped with an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and kettle. The week before, we paid treble the price for a room elsewhere and it wasn’t as clean as this my place.

The lady who was working in the evening (I didn’t catch her name) was so attentive to us. My little girl (2 years old) was very tired and was being a little bit grumpy in the restaurant, she went above and beyond to try and cheer her up by finding her some paper and crayons to colour in. We stayed here in August 2023 and when we arrived and was ordering a drink a member of staff recognised us and showed an interest in our family. This may not be important to some people, but for me showed great customer skills as the staff really took the time to get to know their customers.
